Our Liverpool committee met virtually last Wednesday, 7th April, for the group’s Annual General Meeting. Whilst it has been a difficult year for the group due to the pandemic and the impact that has had on networking events, the group have persevered and held a number of events online which have been a success.
Chairman, James Flannery, will be stepping down after five years in the post with Andy Spooner, our current Vice Chairman and committee member for 12 years, stepping up to take his place. Anne King, a committee member for five years, will become the new Vice Chairman and Will Barralet will be taking over from Andrew Ross as Treasurer.
We are pleased to welcome two new committee members to the group. Vikki Thomas, Relationships Manager from Seddon and Ged Rooney, Head of Pre-Construction, from Robertson Group will be joining the committee, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge in the construction industry.
The future looks bright for Constructing Excellence Liverpool with new additions to the committee and in-person events happening later in the year, we look forward to seeing our members again very soon
